Adam says – ”I prefer to begin a painting with a strong idea, but then see where the moment takes me. Some of the work is more deliberate, but I aim to keep an element of risk or chance. I love finding a face for the first time, or a place caught in the moment. I don’t have any particular limit on subject matter, but I like exploring familiar aspects of popular culture and reoccurring themes of displacement and belonging. Storytelling is a
