David Hinchliffe is an Australian artist living in Brisbane.  He is represented by galleries in London, New York, Tokyo, Hong Kong, Singapore and Melbourne, amongst other cities.  His work embodies a “Contemporary Impressionist” style that is both representational and figurative.  Though he paints primarily with oil paint on canvas, his career has also seen him explore and exhibit work in other mediums.
