Plastic Head: RARE Vintage Batman Doll – 1988 By Ryan O’Donoghue

This figure was my big brothers when we were kids. Batman was a significant part of my childhood, from the epic Tim Burton movies to watching Batman: The Animated Series every Saturday morning. He was always going to be one of my childhood heroes. This figure is now a highly sought-after collector’s item. I have a vivid memory of my brother buying him from the Warner Bros shop at Lakeside Shopping Centre in Essex back in the early ’90s. After lots of time playing with him and growing older, the figure then sat on our shelf, collecting dust, until I recently found him in my Mum’s loft. It’s as if he had been waiting there for me to come and collect him again and create his stunning Plastic Head Portrait.
